DUBAI A Saudi man was executed on Monday for strangling his sister to death, the official Saudi Press Agency reported. The execution in the city of Najran raised to at least 19 the number of people put to death so far this year in the conservative kingdom. At least 121 people were executed in Saudi Arabia last year. The kingdom implements strict Islamic Sharia laws, executing murderers, rapists and drug smugglers, usually by public beheading.
